We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Senior Duty Manager to join a dynamic luxury hospitality team in Sandton. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the hotel to ensure seamless guest experiences
Lead and support departmental teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services
Handle VIP guests, guest relations, and service recovery professionally
Ensure exceptional 5★ service standards are consistently maintained
Assist with staff supervision, training, and performance management
Monitor operational procedures, health & safety, and hotel standards
Manage shifts, reporting, and operational handovers effectively
Requirements:
Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in a Duty Manager or Senior Duty Manager role within a 4★ or 5★ hotel
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities
Opera experience advantageous
Well-presented, professional, and service driven
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Hospitality qualification preferred
Location: Sandton
