General Manager – Aluminium Windows & Door Manufacturing

Salary: R40 000 CTC per month – Annual Profit Share
Full-Time | Monday – Friday (flexibility required)
Local travel to construction sites and suppliers required

An established aluminium window and door manufacturing company in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its operations and drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily operations across Production, Sales, Warehouse and Administration
Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process, ensuring quality, efficiency and on-time delivery
Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to improve productivity and reduce waste
Manage key customer relationships and support business development initiatives
Conduct site visits to monitor installations and maintain strong relationships with contractors and project teams
Oversee procurement, inventory control and supplier relationships
Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts and operational KPIs
Champion a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
Requirements
• 5–10 years’ senior management experience within manufacturing or construction-related industries
• Minimum 3 years leading a medium-sized manufacturing business
• Proven experience managing P&L, budgets and operational performance
• Experience in aluminium windows, doors, glazing or façade systems is highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and process improvement methodologies
• Excellent leadership, communication and customer relationship skills
• Ability to read architectural drawings and construction specifications is beneficial
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP/job management software experience preferred
